Days Inn Michaelwood M5

Good location, very quiet and peaceful, our room overlooked fields. Room was very clean and comfortable, with plenty of storage and good heating system. There was even a heated towel rail in the bathroom! The shower worked very well, and it was nice to find decent shampoo to hand (I forgot to pack ours!) Lovely clean refreshment area with plenty of drinks sachets and little milks. A great place to go for a couple of nights, easy to find and a very reasonable rate. Many thanks to the lovely people who kept our room so beautifully clean.

Although the hotel supplies no food, apart from snacks, there was both a microwave and toaster in reception plus a coffee machine and extra supplies of tea etc for the room. The services are walking distance for most people. There is an m&s at the garage, waitrose in the services as well as burger king ,KFC, and subway. The staff were all friendly and approachable, the room clean and comfortable. Basic, as you expect from a budget hotel, but had a small bath as well as shower. We enjoyed our 4 night stay and will be back next year.

Easy booking process. Perfect price. Rooms were simple but just what we needed for a quick one night stay. Easy to find and good location. Rooms of good size, shower facilities ok. Car parking. Nice staff. Didn't hear any traffic which was good considering how close it is to motorway. Rooms good temperature.

Convenient location for breaking a long journey with easy access to/from motorway. Staff very friendly, helpful and efficient. Room was clean and comfortable with a full bathroom including bath and shower which was a bonus. Surprisingly little noise considering how close to motorway and other services the hotel is.

Good size room with a comfortable bed and a clean fully functional bathroom. Very quiet throughout my stay despite being close to the motorway. Good view over countryside from the room.
